Everything you need to write about us and our two games at Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show.

Púca Games is four lads from Sligo, in the north-west of Ireland, who met studying games
development at ATU Sligo. We're trying to make games for a living, and most of us have day jobs outside games
that we do this around. We named the studio after the púca, the Irish shapeshifter, because we like to change
shape with every game.
Our first two games are for the Arkade Gaming Gun, a light gun you point at the screen. We only
started talking to the Arkade Gaming Gun people a few days before Gamescom Asia x Thailand Game Show, so we gave
up our reading week to get both prototypes ready for Bangkok. For a small studio from Sligo, that's a big deal.

The games
Two games, one gun
Arcade rail shooter
A Sangue Frio
"In cold blood."
Short description. Fight up a Rio hillside from cover to cover, and slow time to mark your targets.
Long description. A Sangue Frio is an arcade rail shooter for the Arkade Gaming Gun. You climb the
Morro da Aurora in three areas, the alley, the stairs and the plaza, taking cover, leaning out and shooting as the
camera rides on rails. Meet snipers on the rooftops, rushers with machetes and grenadiers you can shoot out of the
air. Fill the Sangue Frio meter and time slows, the world turns sepia and you mark up to six targets before every
shot lands at once. Five weapons, from pistol to .44 Magnum, and a results card that grades your accuracy.
Short description. A drowned bride only moves when no one is looking. Bind her in salt before she reaches Inés.
What's playable in Bangkok. A demo of about four to five minutes, with one monster. Under a black
sun you carry Inés across the marsh to a shack, where Ezequiel explains the rules: La Novia moves when you look
away. Watch her, get close, pour the salt and trace a star with the gun to bind her. Three encounters, one line at
the top of the screen that always says what to do.
The full game (not yet built). A longer night in the same shack, 1885, with a folk surgeon at work
on Inés and more things outside than La Novia. That's where we want to take it.
